The State of Expat Living Survey

The Global Expat Hub maintains a scored research database covering 52 relocation destinations — the visa rules, costs, healthcare and safety data behind every guide we publish. Each year we extend that research to the people actually planning a move, and we publish the results in our State of Expat Living report (first edition: November 20, 2026). This survey is short and anonymous: answers are reported only in aggregate, never individually, and it takes about a minute to complete.
