Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

Muskita Hotels · Independently owned and operated five-star resort on the Amathus seafront, Agios Tychonas

The Four Seasons Hotel Limassol stands on the Amathus coast at Agios Tychonas, on the long sandy sweep of Amathountos Avenue east of Limassol's old town. It is independently owned and operated by the Cypriot Muskita group — the same family company behind the neighbouring Amathus Beach Hotel — and has been the benchmark five-star address on this stretch of coast for decades, set in landscaped gardens between the avenue and its own private beach.

Rooms and suites are arranged through the main building and garden wings, all with balconies and most facing the sea, decorated in a contemporary Mediterranean style. Adjoining the hotel, the Four Seasons Residences add a serviced-residence option on the same site — the part of the property most relevant to anyone testing a longer stay on the south coast.

Dining is a strength the hotel trades on: its restaurants include Sera, the Italian fine-dining room by chef Ettore Bottini, alongside Mediterranean and seafood venues, a beach bar and the long-running Vivaldi. The spa runs to treatment rooms, saunas and indoor and outdoor pools, and the grounds step down through palm gardens to a Blue Flag sandy beach with a dedicated adults-only section.

As a scouting base it sits in the middle of Limassol's expat corridor: the old town, marina and castle district are a short drive west, the Germasogeia tourist strip and its everyday services run east, and the A1 motorway puts Larnaca airport roughly 40 minutes away and Paphos about an hour. Few single addresses give a clearer first read on what five-star Limassol — and the residential strip growing around it — actually feels like.

Scouting checklist

  • Stay in at least two neighbourhoods.
  • Choose somewhere with a kitchen: it reveals daily costs.
  • Visit a supermarket, a clinic and a school during the stay.
  • Ask the manager where they would and wouldn't rent.

Every listing links to the property's own website. Listings are editorial picks; a Partner tag marks a paid placement, and a Long-stay tag marks places set up for longer stays.
